What type of roles can you work in as an international educator?

The types of roles you’ll be eligible for as an international educator will depend on the qualifications and experience you possess.

What do international teachers need to find a UK teaching job with Teaching Tomorrow?

This could be through a British Passport, Ancestry or Spousal Visa routes, or even a Skilled Worker Visa.

If applying for a Skilled Worker Visa, you’ll need a minimum of £1754 to cover application cost and healthcare insurance

This is usually your passport, however we also accept driving licenses and citizenship cards.

We’ll need proof of your educational qualifications to identify what type of UK teaching jobs you’ll be able to apply for.

Additionally, when looking to move to the UK on a Skilled Worker Visa, you must prove you can read, write, speak and understand English to at least level B1 on the CEFR scale. 

We’ll need a current version of your CV (resume), detailing your full ten-year employment history.

An overseas police clearance helps us ensure that you’re fully vetted to work in UK schools. You will need to provide this within 6 months of leaving your home country.

An online video meeting gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better. We’ll discuss the types of roles you’re looking for and you’ll be able to ask us any burning questions ahead of taking the plunge into re-location.

We’ll also use this time to identify the unique set of strengths that shape you as an educator. We’ll then use this information to find UK teaching jobs where you’ll fit right in.

Specifically, you will need a minimum of £1270 to cover your first month of living expenses, plus £285 if bringing along a partner and £320 if bringing a child.
