Teacher pay in Oxfordshire
Supply teacher pay varies depending on the responsibilities of the role, your experience and the length of the placement. Bookings that include planning, preparation and assessment are often paid differently from day-to-day cover, while specialist subjects and SEND experience may also influence rates.
Daily supply rates through Teaching Tomorrow generally range from £120 to £290, with many qualified teachers earning between £160 and £220 per day. Permanent teaching positions are paid in line with the relevant school or local authority pay scale.
