Job Description
Teaching Tomorrow is seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Huntingdon Area on an long-term supply basis.
Our client school requires a passionate educator to cover a period of absence, potentially extending to the end of the academic year.
About the Role:
Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and potentially Key Stage 4 students.
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Potentially attend parents’ evenings and contribute to departmental meetings.
Start as soon as possible.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3, and ideally Key Stage 4.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young learners.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the school’s needs.
