Job Description

We seek enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Teachers for supply and long-term positions in the Flitwick, Bedford, Biggleswade, Sandy Areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Lessons: Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assess Progress: Regularly assess and report student progress, adapting teaching as needed.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive learning environment that encourages good behaviour.
  • Support Students: Identify and support individual needs to ensure academic growth.
  • Engage Parents: Maintain effective communication with parents about student progress.
  • Professional Growth: Participate in professional development and contribute to school activities.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure student safety by following safeguarding policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate young learners
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
