Job Description
Are you ready to make a real difference in the classroom and inspire young minds? At Teaching Tomorrow, we’re thrilled to be partnering with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ primary school in the heart of Luton to find a passionate teacher for their year 2 long term position. This position is to start in January and have the flexibility of working 2-5 days a week for the Spring term.
This isn’t just any primary school—it’s a thriving, 4-form entry community that’s one of the largest in the area, with 870 enthusiastic pupils who are eager to learn and grow, A calm, happy, and nurturing environment where both staff and students feel supported and valued.
As a Year 2 Teacher, you’ll guide students through this pivotal stage of their learning journey, building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and confidence.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong and successful KS1 teaching experience
- Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
