Job Description

Teaching Tomorrow, a highly respected recruitment agency in Milton Keynes, are looking for a year 1 teacher to start in September on a full-time basis for one year.

This role includes planning and marking responsibilities at a very good and improving primary school in the Milton Keynes area. As a year one teacher, the school would like someone with Key Stage 1 experience.

Starting in September when the new academic year begins, this allows both a fully qualified teacher or ECT primary teacher the perfect time to settle in.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
Strong and successful Year 1 / Key Stage 1 teaching experience
Must be available 5 days a week
Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 1 students, fostering a positive learning environment.
Utilise strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
Implement behavior management strategies to support student development and maintain classroom discipline.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching practices.
Uphold the standards of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in all teaching activities.
